Ballot BERNING Today and Election Day

2016 has been an incredible year. Throughout the primary season, millions of Americans sent a clear message demanding real progress on issues. Colorado Democrats caucused for Bernie in a big way, helping him carry the state by a wide margin. Our shared victory reflects how strongly Colorado voters feel about Bernie's political revolution–our Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) political revolution. Please contribute now to help PDA activists keep organizing!

We Need You to Get Involved Now! Help Us Raise The Wage,
Provide Healthcare to All, and Halt Fracking in Colorado

Long seen as a swing state, Colorado has been leading the way on important issues, and I hope, inspiring progress in other states. Because Colorado allows direct citizen access to the ballot, committed progressives pushed initiatives on three critical progressive issues onto the ballot this year: universal healthcare, anti-fracking measures, and raising the minimum wage. So even though Bernie will not be on the ballot in November, Coloradans know issues that were front and center in Bernie's campaign will be up for vote.

Please join with us supporting:

  • The ColoradoCare Amendment #69 that would move the state closer to a single payer system
  • An initiative to protect people, the environment, and the climate from fracking
  • A minimum wage increase to $12/hour (not yet up to $15/hour that we demand, but a substantial increase nonetheless)

Voters in Colorado have three incredible chances to actually achieve major wins now, but they need your help now. Please kick in whatever you can afford to help us help Colorado win these efforts! Please contribute $500, $50, or whatever you can right now to help PDA activists keep organizing!

We expect all of these measures to gain the necessary petition signatures to make it to Election Day. We have lots of work to do to make sure we win on all three of these issues. Thanks to Bernie's campaign, PDA leadership, as well as the powerful connections we've made and the tools we've learned at the People's Summit, we can win all three efforts in November.

PDA actively supports these measures, as we work for progress on healthcare, climate, economic justice, and other issues on the state and national levels. Building on our accomplishments at the People's Summit in Chicago, we have been working with allies like Food & Water Watch, Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), and other local and national allies to build support for progress.

PDA is rededicated to building grassroots progressive power though working together on the issues that we all believe in. This speaks to our commitment to building the Bernie movement well beyond this general election season. We're making progress week by week. We're not waiting for another election cycle to build our progressive movement. We still Feel the Bern, and we need your support to keep the pressure on. We can't do anything without your generous support. Please contribute $500, $50, or whatever you can now!

Go, Colorado!
