PDA's Issue Teams on the MOVE!
As you may have heard, Progressive Democrats of America has a sister organization, People Demanding Action--a c4 non-profit. As part of our ongoing organizing, PDAction will begin managing our issue organizing teams (IOTs), moving forward.
PDAction is every bit a member of the PDA family, and PDA's issue team leaders and members will also remain important members of the PDA family! This is an important transition point as we continue our work on progressive issues. Click here to make sure you're signed up for the issue teams you're interested in.

Get Out and Vote! Fab Five GOTV
Bernie Sanders has closed huge Clinton leads to draw into a virtual ties in Ohio, Illinois, and Missouri. After our stunning win in Michigan, we know Bernie can win in North Carolina and Florida. He will gain delegates today. But only if you help! If you haven't voted yet, please get to the polls ASAP, and bring all your Bernie-backing friends with you!
It's "Fab Five" Eve and PDA is All Over This Land
Tomorrow is Election Day in the “Fab Five” states of Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Illinois, and Missouri. All of these states have grown much closer than even our most optimistic hopes a few days ago, and three are virtual ties according to the most recent polls. Please take this as a reminder to bring your Bernie-supporting friends and neighbors out to vote.
In Ohio, Clinton clings to an incredibly shrinking lead: 46% to 41%. In her home state of Illinois, Clinton's once-massive lead has nearly disappeared: 48% to 45%. In Missouri, Bernie actually leads by a single point: 47% to 46%. After Clinton blew massive leads in Iowa, New Hampshire and most recently in Michigan, almost no margin is too large for us to overcome! Candidates need to win delegates, so a close loss is much better than a blow out. Each and every vote matters! Remind your pro-Bernie friends and relatives in these states to vote tomorrow!
Remembering Dr. Quentin Young, M.D.
Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) and the movement to for healthcare as a human right lost a genuine hero for single-payer healthcare. Dr. Quentin Young, was a dear friend to many. He was the medical doctor for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and a pillar of the single payer campaign.
YUGE Win in Michigan!
Today Michigan voted to Feel the Bern, joining Maine, Nebraska, Kansas, New Hampshire, Vermont, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Minnesota. With a virtual tie in Iowa and a surprisingly strong showing in Nevada, that means Bernie is in it to win it!
Starting in 2013, Progressive Democrats of America worked to persuade Bernie to run. He keynoted our 10th anniversary event, and spelled out the need for a massive grassroots movement to deliver the political revolution we need.
We Have YUGE Plans!
We've been on the road non-stop for the past two years, supporting progressive candidates and campaigns. Since our launch in 2004, PDA has dedicated ourselves to building a governing progressive majority. We knew then it'd be a long-term struggle, but we've made real progress.
The strength of our movement comes directly from people like you and me: those of us who care enough to invest our time and everything we can afford to give. We know this work won't be easy, that's why we call it a struggle.
