Help Elect Nanette Barragán

We need Nanette Barragán in Congress. With your help, she will fight for working people as. U.S. Representative. She's committed to protecting American jobs, and bringing more good-paying jobs with benefits to her community, as well as raising the minimum wage, and guaranteeing equal pay for equal work. To win this campaign, she will need all our help!

Please contribute generously right now to support Nanette Barragán! Money tight? Then volunteer to help Nanette win. You can also sign up to make Get Out the Vote (GOTV) calls with Mike "Phone Guy" Fox, and contact PDA Field Director Judy Hess to help build chapters in your state or locality.

Your support will help elect Nanette Barragán

We won't get big money from billionaires or super PACs. To win, we need help from small donors and activists like you! We welcome contributions of any size. Please consider making automatic recurring monthly contributions.

From Nanette's website:

Nanette Barragán believes that regardless of age, income, zip code, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation, we all want the same things: We want the opportunity to find a good-paying job, access to great schools, and safe, healthy communities where you can raise a family. As the youngest of eleven kids raised by parents who immigrated to this country from Mexico, she knows that you have to fight for those things.

Nanette worked in Washington at the White House for President Clinton and at the NAACP, where she focused on social justice issues and researched racial health disparities. Most recently she was a leader in the successful fight against Measure O, a ballot measure that would have allowed oil companies to drill in the Santa Monica Bay.

She served as the first Latina ever elected to the Hermosa Beach City Council. Nanette lives in San Pedro and currently works with one of Los Angeles’s largest and most prominent children’s advocacy organizations to provide free legal services to children in foster care who have special education needs.

Please donate generously to help us elect Nanette. Money tight? Then volunteer with Mike "Phone Guy" Fox to make easy but important calls from your own home, or contact PDA Field Director Judy Hess to help build chapters in your area. No time to volunteer? Then invest in progress with a generous donation right now. Signing up to make an automatic monthly donation would help most, but we gratefully welcome any donation.

In solidarity,

Donna Smith for Judy, Mike F, Mike H, Janis, Deb, Dan, Teva, and Kim, your PDA National Team

P.S. We're here to help you make progress in your state and locality! If you need any help organizing a new PDA chapter or energizing your existing chapter, please contact PDA Field Coordinator Judy Hess. Start organizing now to make a real difference where you live!
