Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) continues working to advance the candidates and issues that represent the best chances for a just society and a peaceful world. Throughout the Presidential primary season, PDA worked tirelessly to support Bernie Sanders.
By the time the Democrats arrived in Philadelphia for their national convention, PDA had 236 elected Bernie delegates identified as members, and those delegates helped drive the Party to adopt the most progressive platform in its history. Please contribute $500, $50, or whatever you can to help PDA keep making progress.
Throughout the general election season, PDA members from Maine to Hawaii and from Florida to Washington State worked to elect incumbent progressive champions as well as new and powerful progressive candidates to the 115th Congress, new members of Congress who will become our champions going forward.
Since November 8, 2016, PDA has seen an upsurge in interest from progressives from several geographic regions. After seeing PDA engage in high-intensity work for many months, and knowing they were part of an effective primary and general election effort in more than 40 states, it would be marvelous if you would join me helping PDA retire its debts from campaign season.
One debt in particular needs special attention. Mike Fox, PDA associate director who many know as the "phone guy," still has more than $3,000 outstanding in expenses from the primary season. PDA staff members routinely take on debt of their own to pursue PDA's agenda, and I want you to join me in saying "thank you" to Mike and the entire PDA staff for their hard work in 2016 with a generous donation as we head into 2017.
All the best to you and yours during this holiday season. May we together reach for and attain that justice and peace we believe in for one another and for our nation.
