On Saturday, January 21, Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) joined with millions of people around the world to stand up for women's rights, civil rights, human rights, jobs, the environment, and more. We distributed signs and stickers, and did everything we could to help support this inspiring outpouring of democracy. Now, the big question is this: can we maintain the momentum from this amazing day, and continue to build a powerful movement? The answer is largely up to you!

We marched in the millions, and that was great, but it isn't enough. We have to keep on "marching" by pressuring Congress and the administration to protect our rights and meet our needs. We must mobilize continuously to win critically important political and economic battles, using the ballot box, boycotts, and bold initiatives. PDA has been working for you with our Healthcare Not Warfare campaign, our Educate Congress campaign, and our support for progressive candidates. Now, we need you to pitch in $500, $50, or $5 whatever you can afford to help us build the movement!

Thanks to our amazing field team of Judy Hess, Dan O'Neal, and Teva Gabis-Levine, as well as our many state coordinators, we've been launching new PDA and Young Progressives Demanding Action (YPDA) chapters faster than ever before. This is exciting and inspiring. It's also financially demanding.

We need your help to maintain this growth. A chapter supply kit contains $80-85 of rally signs, buttons, bumper and lapel stickers, and literature, and costs $13.45 to ship. Your gift of just $100 will help launch a new PDA or YPDA chapter.

• A gift of $80 will let us plaster a room full of activists with lapel stickers. 
• Your gift of $50 pays for 35 USA union printed rally signs like those above. 
• Just a $20 donation will pay for 200 USA union printed, activism leaflets.

Our "street heat" efforts like the massive marches on Saturday, our coalition's First Stand / Hands Off Our Healthcare events earlier this month, and PDA's Healthcare Not Warfare events in December involve a lot of planning, and entail substantial monetary expense. We supply banners, signs, and stickers to empower participants and support these events free of charge. Now, we're running low, and we need to purchase more of these items to keep building and sustaining your movement. Will you step up to help now?
