Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) and Food and Water Watch (FWW) are partnering to "bird dog" members of Congress this week while they're home for the Presidents' Day recess. We'll demand that they stand up against the Trump regime's pro-pollution agenda, and support Expanded and Improved Medicare for All.

We need you take advantage of opportunities to engage or confront your senators and representative at public forums and events, online / conference call town halls, etc. Plan to make a maximum impact at face-to-face events. Arrange to take pictures, and use your smart phone to video record, and if possible, livestream your actions to social media! Please contact Mike Fox to get support and to report on your activities. Support our actions at congressional offices near you!

Tell Congress to Protect the Environment
and to Support Improved Medicare for All

With the confirmation of Pruitt as EPA Director,
the Assault on Our Environment is Underway

Look for town hall and other public appearances with your elected officials scheduled during the recess posted on local media calendars and on your officials' websites. Find your senators and their websites here. And find your representative and his or her website here. Use those links to identify your elected officials, click on their name, and then find their website to locate their offices, calendar, and contact info.

Also, please make plans now to drop an "Educate Congress" letter off with your elected officials this week. Find the offices near you and the phone numbers to call by using the above links. Then call and make an appointment to meet with your senators and representative to deliver the letter, if possible. If not, make an appointment with a staffer.

If you can't make an appointment, just show up with the letter. They're your representatives and staffers. They should meet with and listen to you. Please take photos of your letter drop. Download the letters here: Senate | House. Then modify them and print them to drop at the officials' offices.

Please contact Mike Fox. He'll make sure you get the signs and other support you need, and help connect local activists to your letter drop / photo op event(s)! You can combine the letter drop and the photo op if that's more convenient for you and your cohorts.
