On this month's call Marc Levin will provide an update on the humanitarian issues in the areas affected by ISIL, and Chuck Altman will provide an update on the situation in Afghanistan. Ingrid Monkiewicz will then assist us in an examination of Tulsi Gabbard's bill, HR 4108: To prohibit the use of funds for the provision of assistance to Syrian opposition groups and individuals. Rep Gabbard spoke at last month's Round Table on the Syrian crisis, and plans to release a "dear colleague" letter for circulation in relation to support of her bill, HR 4108. Please examine this bill for endorsement.

To round out the evening the team will also be creating a committee in order to assist with and push foreign policy issues with PDA endorsed presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders. The group will then discuss in tandem the military budget, the upcoming spring budget fight in the Congress, and what strategies we may want to take on to strike at the heart of the military industrial war complex and their ties to the United States Congress.
