Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) calls on you to resist Donald Trump's Regime. The Electoral College has voted. Now, it's up to us to reinforce each other and demand sanity and accountability. We must stand up together to protect and defend communities at risk including immigrants, people of color, women, Muslims, (and those such as Sikhs who are mistaken for Muslims), LGBTQI individuals, Jews, progressives, and many others—potentially all of us—already targeted for hate crimes by Trump-inspired thugs.

We must also protect and defend the Constitution, the Supreme Court, the environment, public education, and even science from Trump-led attacks. We must resist Trump's agenda that includes attacks on labor rights, women's rights, civil rights, and human rights, as well as our Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. The potential targets are nearly endless. We must and will resist.

PDA chapters throughout the nation are seeing large surges in turnout for post-election meetings and events. Help us keep building the resistance. PDA organizers are busy working inside Democratic Party structures to pack the local and state Party membership and leadership with progressives. Berniecrats are winning positions of responsibility, and implementing plans to transform the Party from the ground floor up. All the way up to the national chair as we back our Advisory Board member and dear friend Keith Ellison's effort to serve as DNC Chairperson.

We Refuse to become Donald Trump's prey. Resistance requires that we organize, organize, organize. Gather with your like-minded neighbors, colleagues, and friends to turn out and oppose the Alt-Right / Alt-Reich march to glory. They warned us of their schemes from their first shouts of support for the twisted Trump campaign. We must resist their dark designs. Meet and protest and strategize and support our progressive movement.

Help empower those who can be the most effective spokespeople and help get their words in newspapers, on the radio, and in front of TV cameras. Spread the word on social media and send your news to us so we can share it broadly. Follow PDA and share our articles on social media. Contact PDA Online Media Director Janis Kay to get involved. Give gifts and display items that advance your progressive principles (it's too late for Christmas delivery, but it's never too late to support progress). All of that constitutes resistance.
