Aurora Campaign Finance Reform Forum

Denver PDA has joined forces with CleanSlateNow Action in a quest for Campaign Finance Reform in the city of Aurora.  Denver and Lakewood have already taken the leap to make changes in how campaigns are financed by banning large corporate contributions and lowering contribution limits.  Since Aurora is the 3rd largest city in Colorado, now is the time to start the conversation in this municipality.

Don’t live in Aurora?  Your city could be next! Come learn how we can secure that elected officials will be guided by public interests, instead of being influenced by special interests. This forum is the first step in bringing campaign finance reform to Aurora.

Aurora elected officials and candidates have been invited to join the conversation.  Aurora City Council member Nicole Johnston will be speaking to us, along with a representative from Congressman's Jason Crow's office.

What do you know about HR1?   It addresses voter access, election integrity, election security, political spending, and ethics for the three branches of government.
