We will watch a video about the Janus lawsuit before the Supreme Court and discuss the future of the labor movement. The Janus lawsuit is to impose “Right to Work” rules nationwide that would allow union workers and non-union workers within a bargaining unit to no longer pay union dues but get the benefits of union bargaining for public sector workers. It would reduce revenues by 20% and hurt political contributions to Democrats. It is backed by wealthy Republicans.
