May 7, 2019 is Denver City Election time. Most of us will be waiting until November 5th for our city elections, but Denver is taking the lead. There still is a lot we can do for Denver whether we live in there, or just are neighbors. We all are on the same side and are in it together, so let’s do our part to get some progressives elected. We all know that what happens in Denver affects all surrounding cities and counties. Let’s get active and involved!
Denver PDA, through Progressive Vote-Colorado, has endorsed several progressive candidates who need help with phone banks, canvassing, writing postcard, and of course $$.
Tony Pigford, City Council At-Large, Dave Sabados, City Council District 1, Jamie Torres, City Council District 3, Colleen Zahradnicek, City Council District 4, Michele Fry, City Council District 5, Patrick Thibault, City Council District 8, Candi CdeBaca, City Council District 9, Chris Hinds, City Council District 10, Christine Alonzo, City Council District 11, Paul Lopez, Clerk & Recorder, Penfield Tate, Mayor
Can’t walk? Don’t like to call? What about writing a postcard or two or ten? On Monday April 8th join us at the Eloise May library - Room B from 6:30 -8:30 pm for a postcard writing party! PDA will supply the postcards, a script to follow, address labels, pens, music, light refreshments and a whole lot of fun.
Show some solidarity with your Denver neighbors; stop by to show your support –-write some postcards.
