Have you seen this? It's called Bernie's Yearning.  Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben & Jerry's, decided he would design and share a new ice cream flavor in honor of Bernie's campaign. He did this quite apart from the B&J's company, on his own as a private citizen, so you won't find this delicious pint anywhere but right here.

At a time when the Democrats will need a person of the highest integrity to unify, empower, and lead the Party into the general election, Ms. Wasserman-Schultz has proven she is either incapable or unwilling to provide solid, effective, or impartial leadership.

We Are All Flint, Michigan!

Are you as outraged as we are by the reckless disregard for life Michigan Governor Rick Snyder has repeatedly shown? Last summer, Progressive Democrats of America and People Demanding Action joined with our allies to defend the basic human right to water in Detroit.

A broad coalition marched, organized call-in days, and otherwise protested against Snyder’s unfair austerity policies. We fought him and we won. We’d hoped that he'd learned his lesson. Clearly he hasn't.

Now, we're asking you to join with PDA and our allies—notably Bernie Sanders, and award-winning documentarian and Flint native Michael Moore—to demand accountability. Michael Moore is asking us to join him through an online petition.

Chicago needs and deserves a mayor who respects its citizens’ lives, and a properly trained police force that truly serves and protects Chicagoans.

For us, it's personal. We live or lived in Chicago, and we're disgusted at what we've seen. After several years of gross mismanagement and neglect, it's clear that Chicago needs a new mayor.

Last year was a time of transition for Progressive Democrats of America. We began 2015 still mourning the loss of our Founder, Tim Carpenter. We were working to launch our non-profit sister organization, People Demanding Action with Andrea Miller at the helm.
