Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) strongly supports our Advisory Board Member Rep. Keith Ellison for Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair. We helped organize support for Keith in Phoenix, Houston, Detroit, and again last Friday and Saturday in Baltimore. We NEED Keith Ellison As DNC Chair!

We know Keith Ellison very well. We've worked with him closely since he entered Congress in 2006. He's taken the lead as co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, and by sponsoring important legislation including the Inclusive Prosperity Act, also known as the Robin Hood Tax—a small sales tax on certain Wall Street transactions to prevent destructive speculative bubbles and help fund needed investments in our nation.

We know Keith's judgment is sound, his attitude is positive, and his intentions are honorable. The list of his fellow Congress members, unions, advocacy groups, Democratic Party committees and officials as well as individuals who have endorsed Keith Ellison is long and growing. Here is his vision for the Democratic Party, in his own words:

We must energize Democratic activists across the country and give them the tools to build the Party from the bottom up. Beyond a 50-state strategy, we need a 3,143-county strategy. DNC members are on the front lines in these states and counties, and we must harness your experience and give you a meaningful voice as we set the direction for the Party. In a DNC Chair, you need a partner and an advocate who will ensure you have the resources you need to win.
