Take Action this Monday July 3rd at the State Capitol
Please see this urgent message from our Healthy California Campaign! Everyone who can - please get in a carpool, hop a bus, plane, train or whatever - and go to Sacramento to let Speaker Rendon hear from us! And please spread this message far and wide by going to the link above.
Tell Speaker Rendon: Don't deny democracy, pass SB 562!
Take Action this Monday July 3rd at the State Capitol
This past Wednesday hundreds of SB 562 supporters filled the Capitol Rotunda, just outside of Speaker Anthony Rendon's office and the Assembly Floor, to express our message loud and clear. We filled the Capitol with our chanting, unfurled two huge banners and delivered hundreds of individual hand written messages to Speaker Rendon's office.
We must keep the pressure on.
There is still time for Rendon to reverse his decision and allow Assemblymembers to vote on the Healthy California Act, SB 562, which would provide healthcare to all Californians.
This Monday join nurses, patients, and community members as we take action again at the Capitol with the message:
Speaker Rendon: Don't deny democracy, pass SB 562. Stop holding our healthcare hostage!
When: July 3 Monday 12 pm - 2 pm
Where: State Capitol South Steps (near 10th & N St) Sacramento, Ca.
Some bus transportation will be available. Sign up for a seat on the bus below.
